Singer songwriter from Suffolk, I have been playing guitar for 7 years
and writing songs for 6 years.
Started playing live Sep 1999 (nerve wracking or what!) now have a regular
gig at Wensum Lodge, Norwich. Also perform regularly at Norwich Arts Centre.
Recently I have played the boat race in Cambridge on the songwriter's
night.
My song writing inspiration comes from day to day observations and my
own experience of life. I have always had a leaning towards the softer,
more melodic style of music and my compositions naturally take me in that
direction.
I recorded my first C/D in March 1999 (a valentine present from my girlfriend).
The CD was just a bit of fun but with some good feedback about the songs
I decided to go for a fully produced sound for the next album.
Pure blue the follow up C/D was recorded at purple studios in Norwich
and was definitely worth every penny with sales from gigs and word of
mouth of 162 copies
This has now led to a 3rd C/D currently being recorded and should be
available mid 2003.
