Live the dream

Richmond

1970 VW Beetle

Richmond Exterior
After starting life as an orange bug he was stripped down and treated to new wings, new doors, new tinted grey windows, swan wing-mirror, etc.

Originally he was re-painted matt black, though he was later completely stripped down again and treated to and brand new gloss paint job with hand-drawn ghost flames.

 Paint
Custom paint job by SID in Great Yarmouth. The paint consists of a base coat of House of Colour Blackest black, ghost flames were hand drawn using silver-flek paint and a clear top-coat with a hint of House of Colour Candy Apple red added to finish. This gives the paint a black appearance in dull weather, though in direct light the car flips between red, dark purple and black and the flames stand out by reflecting the red in the clear coat.
